The chicken was ready, just need to be cut into pieces. It felt so good, like there was a sense of satisfaction that came when holding a knife and slicing the chicken. I cleaned the chicken, then cut it into several pieces as desired. My hands and the kitchen table got a little messy, but I didn't really care.

After that, I prepared the seasoning. While waiting, I was busy preparing white rice. When the chicken was ready, I started cooking it. I occasionally checked the chicken that was being fried, making sure everything was cooked perfectly.

I immediately arranged it on a plate. The taste was already good, but I added a little chili sauce to give it the right spicy sensation. When I tasted the chicken that I had just cooked, it tasted... perfect. Not too hard, and the spices were absorbed well. I felt proud of my own cooking.

Finally, I had a delicious lunch. There is nothing more satisfying than eating food that we make ourselves. Today's kitchen work may be simple, but for me, this is a small victory. Something simple can bring happiness.

Funnily enough, it turned out that everyone agreed to go to the beach, and my mother-in-law immediately laughed, "Don't forget to bring me!" Instantly, everyone was full of laughter. I felt very lucky to be among such warm and caring people.

Towards evening, my mother-in-law served dinner. Today's menu was chicken soto, which always tasted delicious and special. We ate together, told stories and shared experiences. There was a great sense of comfort and happiness every time we gathered with them.

The children were starting to get sleepy and my mother-in-law had started to clear the dining table. I felt very grateful to have such a warm and supportive family. Today, I felt closer to them, and that made me feel more at home in this house.

A simple afternoon, but full of happiness. I will go home later, but this comfortable feeling will always be remembered until later.
