Later, Masjid al-Nabawi (the Prophet's Mosque) was established, becoming the central hub of the Muslim community.

2.Architecture: The design of mosques varies across countries, influenced by cultural and architectural styles. However, certain features are common, such as the mihrab (a niche indicating the direction of prayer), minaret (a tower for calling the adhan), and a wudu area (a place for ablution).

3 Role of the Mosque: Beyond prayer, mosques also serve as centers for social and educational activities. Many mosques offer religious education, Quran recitation, and community services.

4 Largest Mosque: Masjid al-Haram in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, is the largest mosque in the world. It is the holiest site for Muslims and houses the Kaaba, which is the qibla (direction of prayer) for Muslims.
