While we were walking along the path that led from the museum deep into the area of the fort buildings, we imperceptibly came to the steep shore of the Gulf of Finland. There was a wonderful view of the horizon from here. At that moment, I was well aware of how successful this place was from a defensive point of view: the entire water surface stretched from here for many kilometers into the distance.
HELP FROM THE NETWORK: Fort Krasnaya Gorka is located on the southern coast of the Gulf of Finland. Not far from the village of Lebyazhye. More recently, this territory was a border area, and it was impossible to get here without a proper pass. The fort is now open to everyone! If you get there by car, the journey from St. Petersburg will take no more than an hour.
Kronstadt was clearly visible on the right. But in good weather, you could probably see the other side of the bay. The coast here is partially prone to collapse, so we walked here with caution, because there are no special barriers for tourists here and if you are not careful, you can easily fall off a cliff.
We stayed on the shore for a while to admire the local views and take photos. At first, it seemed to us that it would be impossible to get down to the water from here, but soon we discovered a path made more by extreme motorcyclists. Then the passage to the coast was quite easy.
The beach that we found to the right of the descent is not equipped, and it is unlikely that it is designed for bathing tourists, because the park area is a nature reserve. There is a continuous wild territory here and even mushrooms grow. However, I was pleasantly pleased that there was absolutely no garbage here and the water in the bay was clean.
We found a dilapidated building in the bushes on the shore. Judging by the features of its masonry and general architecture, we can safely say that the building was built at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Now it's completely abandoned, we walked around there a bit and didn't find anything interesting inside.
Having climbed back up with difficulty, we followed the path further and there we were met by a whole complex of monuments and stands. From there, we learned that a large part of the park is dedicated to the memory of the military achievements of the Navy and the defenders of the fort. Tomorrow we will continue our walk around this place and I will show you the underground structures that still remain in the area of the Krasnaya Gorka fort.
Пока мы шли по тропинке, которая вела от музея вглубь зоны фортовых сооружений, мы незаметно вышли к крутому берегу Финского залива. Отсюда открывался замечательный вид на горизонт. В тот миг я хорошо осознал, насколько удачным с оборонительной точки зрения было это место: вся водная гладь простиралась отсюда на многие километры вдаль.
СПРАВКА ИЗ СЕТИ: Форт Красная горка находится на южном побережье Финского залива. Недалеко от посёлка Лебяжье. Совсем недавно эта территория являлась приграничной, и попасть сюда без соответствующего пропуска было невозможно. Сейчас форт открыт для всех желающих! Если добираться на автомобиле, то дорога от Санкт-Петербурга займёт не больше часа.
Справа хорошо был виден Кронштадт. Но в хорошую погоду наверняка можно было бы увидеть и другую сторону залива. Берег здесь частично подвержен обрушению, поэтому мы ходили здесь с осторожностью, ведь здесь для туристов нет специальных заграждений и при невнимаельности можно легко рухнуть с обрыва.
На берегу мы на некоторое время задержались, чтобы полюбоваться здешними видами и сделать фотоснимки. В начале нам показалось, что спуститься отсюда к воде будет невозможно, но вскоре мы обнаружили тропу, проделанную скорее экстремальными мотоциклистами. Далее проход к побережью прошёл достаточно легко.
Пляж, который мы нашли справа от спуска, не обустроен, да и вряд ли он расссчитан на купающихся туристов, ведь зона парка является заповедником. Здесь сплошная дикая территория и даже растут грибы. Впрочем приятно радовало то, что здесь совершенно нет мусора и вода в заливе чистая.
В зарослях кустарника на берегу мы нашли какое-то полуразрушенное строение. Судя по особенностям его кладки и общей архитектуры можно смело утверждать, что здание было посроено ещё на рубеже 19-20 веков. Сейчас оно полностью заброшено, мы немного походили там и ничего интересного внутри не нашли.
С трудом поднявшись обратно вверх, мы прошли по тропе дальше и там нас встретил целый комплекс памятников и стендов. Оттуда мы узнали, что ата часть парка посвящена памяти прошлим воинским заслугам морского флота и защитникам форта. Завтра мы продолжим прогулку по этому месту и я покажу вам подземные сооружения, которые ещё остались в районе форта "Красная Горка".
