Travel around St. Petersburg No 99. Kronstadt Fort Tour (part 1). Экскурсия по фортам Кронштадта (часть 1)

Hello everybody! Today I will finally tell you about our summer adventures, where we reached Kronstadt and took part in a water tour of the forts. I must say that this was an exclusively sightseeing trip, we did not enter the fortifications themselves and did not disembark anywhere.

HELP FROM THE NETWORK: The Kronstadt Forts are a legendary landmark of St. Petersburg. They stopped the enemy on the outskirts of the city more than once, and although their military life is in the past, they remain unique monuments of fortification today. The first fortifications began to be built around the city in the XVIII century by decree of Peter the Great to protect St. Petersburg.‑St. Petersburg was protected from the Swedish attack and continued to be built until the 19th century.

A lot of interesting things are known about the history of coastal and coastal fortifications. They began to be built under Peter the Great, and the construction of the last fort was completed in the middle of the 19th century. Our tour turned out to be somewhat spontaneous, we all realized that the day was coming to an end and we just didn't have time to find a more detailed tour, so we agreed to at least this one.

However, we didn't regret much that we wouldn't be able to get inside at least one of these legendary structures, because a boat trip through the waves of the bay is almost a real boat trip! My daughter was the most excited about the trip. She carefully examined each of the fortifications and asked different questions all the time.

The route of the trip turned out to be very winding. The boat was sailing along its usual fairway, the wind was blowing over our faces, it was warm. We didn't even go down inside, but spent the entire trip on the upper deck, carefully observing the views. Meanwhile, I was taking pictures of all those wounded places that came across along the way.

There were quite a lot of shots, but I tried to photograph all the structures from different angles, because our boat was traveling along a difficult route, taking turns getting closer to Fort Kronshlot, then in turn to forts Pavel I, Count Milyutin, and finally to Fort Alexander.

Tomorrow I will show you the second and final block of photographs dedicated to that trip. It seems to me that in these shots I managed to convey the atmosphere of the evening Kronstadt. Who knows when we will visit there again next time. Well, that's all for today. Bye, everyone!

Привет всем! Сегодня я, наконец, поведаю о наших летних приключениях, где мы добрались до Кронштадта и поучаствовали в водной экскурсии по фортам. Надо сказать, что это была исключительно обзорная поездка, в сами укрепления мы не заходили и на берег нигде не высаживались.

СПРАВКА ИЗ СЕТИ: Кронштадтские форты — легендарная достопримечательность Санкт-Петербурга. Они не раз останавливали неприятеля на подступах к городу, и, хотя их военная жизнь осталась в прошлом, они и сегодня остаются уникальными памятниками фортификации. Первые укрепления начали возводить вокруг города в XVIII веке по указу Петра I для защиты Санкт‑Петербурга от нападения шведов и продолжали строить вплоть до XIX века.

Об истории береговых и прибрежных укреплений известно много интересного. Строить их начали ещё при Петре I, а строительство последнего форта закончилось уже в середине 19-го века. Наш тур оказался несколько спонтанным, мы все понимали, что день подходил к концу и мы просто не успевали найти более подробную экскурсию, поэтому согласились хотя бы на эту.

Впрочем, мы не сильно жалели, что нам не удастся попасть внутрь хотя бы одного из этих легендарных сооружений, ведь путешествие на катере по волнам залива - это почти настоящая морская прогулка! Больше всех поездке обрадовалась моя дочь. Она внимательно рассматривала каждое из фортификационных сооружений и всё время задавала разные вопросы.

Маршрут поездки оказался очень извилистым. Катер шёл по привычному для него фарватеру, ветер обдувал наши лица, было тепло. Мы даже не спустились внутрь, а всю поездку провели на верхней палубе, внимательно обозревая виды. Я же тем временем делал снимки всех тех интереных мест, которые попадались по пути.

Сделанных кадров получилось довольно много, но я постарался фотографировать все сооружения с разных сторон, ведь наш катер ехал по сложному маршруту, по очереди подъезжая ближе то к форту "Кроншлот", затем по очереди к фортам "Павел I", "Граф Милютин" и в конце к форту "Александр".

Завтра я покажу второй, заключительный блок фотоснимков, посвящённый той поездке. Мне кажется, на этих кадрах мне удалось передать атмосферу вечернего Кронштадта. Кто знает, когда в следующий раз мы снова побываем там. Ну, а на сегодня у меня всё. Всем пока!
