U.S. HALF DOLLAR SILVER COINS

U.S. KENNEDY HALF DOLLAR SILVER COIN

The Kennedy Half Dollar coins were minted from 1964 through present.
Only the 1964 coins are 90% Silver and 10% Copper. Each coin weighs 12.5 grams.
Here is a pair of 1964 Kennedy Half Dollar silver coin.

With silver worth about $26 per 1 Troy Ounce, the silver content in these two coins is worth about $19.

Coin Dealers are selling $1 face value of 90% Silver coins for $22 to $24.

These coins also are becoming very collectible, giving them more value than just the silver.

Also, these 1964 Kennedy Half Dollars are usually in uncirculated condition.

Thanks for showing the Silver fractionals, @goldkey. The fair & honest, Local Coin Shop's price, in my neighborhood, was $12.50 per half-dollar or $25(USD) per $1 face, on 4/24/2021. Silver Quarters & Dimes $23 per $1 face.

Those sound like decent prices for a Local Coin Shop.

The coins, since the $20 is toast from uncontrolled spending. But I like atacking coins anyway, so win win!
