The very first hand poured silver that I fell in love with were silver poured onto wood molds, and the first stacker/pourer I met who did that was Vulcan5678.
I think that wood mold pours are the most unique pieces one can have.
It is so interesting to see how the character of the silver bar evolves when the molten silver flows into the natural cracks of the charred wood mold, creating the most beautiful and unique effect on the surface of the bar.
The fact is, I really, really like wood mold poured silver bars and have a great appreciation for wood pours that I had many more Silver Saver Bars made, then shared them all as gifts to friends in the silver stacking community.

The artisan can only pour so much on a particular wood mold, because the wood mold gets literally burned out, LOL! And the first two pours are usually re-melted because they usually do not show any of the unique wood design.

Many of my hand-poured silver are custom pours, first pours or prototype pours, @silvertop. I am glad that you appreciate these like I do. They are special because all pourers are known to me, and we sort-ta "grew-up" together in the YT staking community. Just as you, Mrs @silvertop and I and the other in the SGS community are journeying together to stack in precious metals, and at the same time developing meaningful friendships.
