The 48th session of the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperations)

The 48th session of the council of foreign minister of the OIC (organization of Islamic Cooperations) is starting from today in Islamabad for two days. The OIC is second-largest organization of the world with 56 Muslim member states. Its major purposes are to protect Muslim states, enhance economic, political and social relations with other states. It is struggling for unity, prosperity, and Peace in the world.

In order to meet its purpose, its two days annual session of 2022 is being hosted by Pakistan. Pakistan has also invited foreign minister of china Wang Yi, representative of the UN and some other representatives of higher regional and international organizations.

The participates would discuss issues which are facing Muslim in the world. Especially, agenda of previous meeting that was hold for Afghanistan crisis in 2020 will be reviewed. They will discuss deliberately humanitarian Crisis of Afghanistan.

Moreover, the Kashmir issue and Palestine issue will be discussed. The OIC will take review of the situation in Kashmir and Palestine. The resolutions of the UN for peaceful settlement of Kashmir dispute are the major agenda of Pakistan foreign policy will bring about the session.

Conclusion

Furthermore, increasing Islamophobia, sectarianism, and terrorism will also be discussed. They will take remedial measure against increasing Islamophobia, and will deliberately think about the curtailment of sectarianism, that is issues like Yemen crisis can be overcome.
