Assalamualaikum dear people. I am doing perfectly fine and hope good for you guys too. I've been inactive for so long due to my final exams of 2nd semester, which were very important to me as I wanted to get a scholarship.
My last paper was on 15th of July and then I got busy with my cow and goats as I love animals the most. I give them food, water, try to take care of them and go outside to talk to them whenever there are no boys around.😀

Sometimes I feel like I know everything about them and can take care of them on my own which makes my brother and cousin feel jealous. As this work belongs to the men of our homes according to pakistani mentality 😁

Anyway, let's start with my days.

1st day

On the first day of Eid-ul-Adha, I woke up at 8. My father and all the male members of our home went to perform the namaz of Eid in the masjid near to our house. At that time we took shower and wore new clothes. Wearing one's best clothes at the eid festival is sunnah, and we should wear new clothes if they're affordable for us.

Then I went to meet my cow for the last time as she was going to be taken to the slaughter house within an hour.

I gave them some leaves to eat. To be honest it was very heart breaking for me as I knew it was for the last time. I literally had tears in my eyes while leaving them.
But then I thought they're gonna go to a very good place. And Allah will maybe happy if I think positive with patience.

The qurbani was done till 1 pm. And as usuall my dadi was cooking liver (kaleji) for all of us. I know its not good but I just cannot eat it at all. So my cousin and I started frying french fries.

My dadi and ammi scolded us alot for this but that's normal so we kept doing what we were.
After having fries at 3 we just went back to our rooms and had rest or used our phones. We were in our rooms till 6 because we didn't have anything to do at the first day of Eid as always. Neither we go somewhere nor someone comes to our house.

After maghrib we decided to watch a movie named 'Jumanji'. Our cousin recommended us a while ago so we decided to watch it. Also becuase this movie was appropriate to watch with children.
While watching movie, we ordered a pizza as noone wanted to eat the very fresh meat. A food panda rider was 20 minutes late than the time they gave but the pizza was delicious.

The day just went like this. I didn't enjoy anything well as was feeling kinda tensed for my cow. 😪

2nd day

The second day of eid, on 22nd july I woke up at 12.
Today there was a feast at my house. All my paternal uncles and aunts were invited. So we had a lot of work to do first. I went downstairs to set chairs and make salad with my cousin.
I also asked my grandmother if something was left to do. But by the time we went down stairs, almost everything had been done by the maid my mother hired for a day. The house looked very clean.
Also the food had to come from a restaurant where we had given our meat and rice, so there was no tension of cooking.

We came upstairs and as usual my cousin asked me to apply mehendi on her hands. I had no choice so I agreed. Also I didn't have anything to do as everyone was going to come in the evening, so why not?
These were her hands after getting ready. I felt very good because almost everyone liked her mehendi. But there's a drawback which matters the most that it takes alot of time for me to complete even one hand. I always say that ill try to overcome it but when it's time to, i feel zero interest.

I had some rest then and at 7 it was time to get ready. I always try to get ready at the very end. I don't know why but I dont like wearing clothes hurrily and then sit waiting for the guests.
Before watching myself, I had to make hairstyle of my sisters which I absolutely hate sometimes. Anyway it doesn't matter, it's always my duty.

I was all ready till 8:30 pm. I want to wear fancy dresses on eid but am unable to because eid comes in summers everytime. And in this weather it is almost impossible for me to think of wearing something very fancy. 🤷‍♀️

Look at my grandparents. They're absolutely stunning. I wish they live with us happily forever. My grandmother is very close to us.

All my cousins and relatives came and we enjoyed alot.

My baba's uncle brought these flowers for us. They were beautiful. But unfornately one of my little cousins tore them just after some time.😐 I wish I could scold him but her mother was infront of me😁.

Anyway, we had dinner at 10pm. There were beef biryani, mutton qorma, and a sweet dish with some drinks.

It was a small table of food dishes for us the group of some girls. We could peacefully eat alone here.

My grandmother (dadi) also made carrot pudding herself. Although I dont like this halwa but she's very good at making several dishes.

At 11pm the light was gone due to some electrical issue so we decided to go out. At this time we had alot of laughs together, we enjoyed alot talking to each other.

And the day ended like this. Everyone went back around 1 am. I enjoyed this day to be honest.
I slept at almost 3am.

3rd day

The third day of eid-ul-adha was on 23rd july 2021. This day we had to go to our nani's home. We go to see our nani on the third day of eid everytime during this occasion. All of my meternal aunts are invited there.
So this day I woke up around 12 too. And the day was normal. I had some gossips with my siblings. We played and then ammi asked us to choose our clothes to wear.

While choosing the accessories to wear today I took this picture. Aren't these earrings pretty?

At 5 pm we got ready to go.

I wore a very famous combination of black and white. My nani ammi likes it very much. I choose this clothes from the stock my mother had of clothes. I usually don't buy clothes or go to shopping before eid because there's so much rush in the markets before eid. So we keep some stock at our home.

On the way to nani's home we bought a cake from delizia.

It was a milky malt cake of 2.5 pond. Just by looking at it we can predict the taste.

We reached at grandmother's house at 6. We were served with very delicious brunch.

I ate good amount of food this time because I liked it too much.

Then my uncle (mamu) asked me to go to take food with hi from a restaurant where he had ordered grilled meat (kabab) prior.

We went to the food street of burns road. The guards asked us to park the car outside the street so we had to go by walk. The restaurant was kinda far from our car so it took us a while. There were good number of restaurants, street foods, tea hotels etc.and alot of people including group of boys and families were also there. It was good to see this much traffic of people there.

The restaurant owner asked us to sit outside on the chairs while the kabab was getting ready. I didnt want to wait because there was so much smoke and people staring at us. You can see the smoke in the picture above.

While waiting outside we bought limka for us. I like lemon flavoured limka so it was it.

We finally got our food and also bought 30 parathe and 20 chapati for everyone as there were almost 40 guests in the home.
After coming back everyone enjoyed dinner.
All my meternal cousins are kids and I don't have anyone of my age. So I played with these guests. We played an IQ game. I was the one who were asking some general knowledge and common sense questions from them and the were answering. In the end I counted the marks of each child. The one who got the highest score won 200 rupees and the second winner got 100 rs. I know that's a very little reward but means alot for children.

We came back to our home at 2 am. That was late. Before sleeping I did some cleansing of face and put my messy makeup and accessories in the closet.

So the main days of eid has gone. Now life is again very normal, time is just running forward.
