Assalam-o-Alaikum!
Yesterday, on the occasion of Independence Day, 14th August, a fully locally produced electric car was inaugurated at a private hotel in Karachi by Dice Foundation, Universities, and the private sector. This car has also been named NUR-E 75 on the occasion of Pakistan's 75th Independence Day. Initially, the booking of this car has not been opened to the public, but it is rumored that the public will be able to book this car in the year 2024.
Its battery pack has been developed by the local university NED University of Engineering. The car is equipped with the latest technology and the experts also plan to export this car to Pakistan as much as possible. This is a car that has been completely designed by the National College of Arts. Its battery chargers have also been developed by the local Sir Syed University of Engineering and experiments are ongoing for faster-charging speeds.

While Pakistan is facing many challenges on the global front, economic and environmental pollution are also at the forefront. According to research on Google, Pakistan ranks fourth among countries with environmental pollution and economic default. Unfortunately, Pakistan is not self-sufficient in oil products, and importing them increases its prices. For this reason, Pakistan is in urgent need of modern reforms in these two sectors. The first domestically produced electric car is emerging as a link toward such reforms.
For safe travel, where the middle class of Pakistani society prefers a car over a bike, they seem to be quite worried about the cost of cars with petroleum products. Considering all these reasons, the manufacturing of electric cars completely in Pakistan is nothing short of good news. Where this country will guarantee improvement in the economic situation, it will be no less than a blessing for the people belonging to the middle class of Pakistan.
The End! |

Realty nice to see pakistan progressing in such technical things. But this massive increase in the prices of petrol, oil and almost everything is so disturbing for many!!! I wish things could get better 😞
