The Imran Hosein Center ANDALUCIA in the south of spain, City of Granada, want to open a masjid around the center of the mountain town Órgiva / Granada in Andalucia.
Órgiva was a center of the the muslims since the year 1000 and eventualy much earlier. The muslims lived here in peace and harmony with jews and christians, until the "great cleaning" of Queen Isabella and her friends took place and muslims where expelled from the country.
The intention was explained to Maulana Sheikh Imran Hosein and he advised us to call the masjid "masjid al khidr", inshallah.
Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullahra narrates that the Holy Prophetsa said: “Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, like a sparrow's nest for Allah or even smaller, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.”
