A Memorable Journey to Airport

Hi guys! I hope you all are doing good. It's the start of September and international students are traveling to different countries for studies and Sweden is one of them. Let me add a few lines about Sweden here. Sweden is a Scandinavian nation with thousands of coastal islands and inland lakes situated in Europe. Sweden is famous for its old and traditional Universities which are true assets of the nation. According to Human Development Index Sweden is the 7th best place in the world for humans to live. My cousin also got admission to Linnaeus University in Sweden and his classes are starting soon. So, today's dairy is about my travel to Lahore Airport to see off my cousin Asfan.

Our Journey

We packed all the essential things at left home by 5 O'clock. I was thrilled that my brother was starting a new life but at the same time, I was sad a bit because he was going away from me. We were six people in the car. After traveling for half an hour we stopped at a rest area to grab coffees and then started our journey again. We enjoyed the motorway journey a lot. Motorways are always fascinating for me especially in the rain and at night times.

We reached Lahore in two and a half hours. There first we took a break and had dinner. I must say that the Lahori Karahis and Tikkas have no second match.

After finishing dinner we headed towards the Allama Iqbal International Airport. We entered the airport with blended feelings of joy and sadness.

We said goodbye to Asfan, took some pictures with him, and then he went in for the boarding. We stayed there until he was boarded safely. After that, we started our journey back home. On return, we took a short break at a rest area and then started our journey and finally reached home by 4 O'clock.
