This is @event-horizon, moderator of the official Pakistani community, Steemit Pakistan. This post will cover the tasks that I have been assigned to run this community.
Before I begin, I want to remind everyone to make a habit of checking pinned posts in the community on a daily basis because these posts hold important information and news. This will save your time and help you perform effectively in the community.

Important Notice: Set Beneficiary to Steemit-pak. [Importance of community Curator account]
As you know, we upvote all the quality content in the community through @steemit-pak. Mostly, you get votes worth around $0.2-$0.3. We want to give you bigger and better votes. Currently, the official curator account has 28k effective sp, out of which 16k is delegated by some of the dedicated members. If they take back this delegated sp then you will not get that $0.2 vote as well. But they will not take it back because they believe in the community and want it to grow.So what are you waiting for? Don't you want to contribute too and get a bigger and better vote? Yes? Then there's something you can do to help the community account grow.
- Configure your posts as 20% beneficiary to @steemit-pak.
- Delegate steem power to @steemit-pak.
What will you get?
If you think about long-term benefits then better votes from community account. Other than that:
- Increased chances of getting selected for booming votes if you set 20% awards for @steemit-pak.
- One guaranteed booming vote per week, if you delegate 500 or more steem power to @steemit-pak.
What will you get after giving away 20% rewards in beneficiary?
- Let's say, you accumulate $15 on a post through votes.
- $7.5 will be distributed among the curators and the other $7.5 will be yours.
- Half (3.75 sp) of which will be added to your steem power and another half (3.75sbd) will be added to your sbd.
But if you set 20% beneficiary then 20% of 3.75 sbd which is 0.75 sbd will go to @steemit-pak and the rest of 3 sbd will still be yours.
So, it's not a deal-breaker. You can enjoy booming votes by giving a small percentage for the growth of the community account which will also be for your own benefit.
Why should you delegate?
I am sure, I don't have to brief about the benefits of delegations. Let's come to what will you get:

- One guaranteed booming vote each week - How's that?
There's only one condition for the guaranteed vote and that is to delegate a minimum of 500sp to @steemit-pak.
