Application for Country Representative Pakistan

Dear @steemitblog,

I think it takes a lot more to be a true CR than having a good profile (i.e, good author, high club, activity, etc). It requires patience, availability at odd hours, leaving your own posts sometimes because a newbie is struggling to make one, and much more.

Keeping in mind all this and having the ability and adequate experience, I would like to apply for the role of Representative of Pakistan.

Below is a demonstration of my eligibility for the position according to the given criteria.

• Active on the platform for at least the past 3 months
  I joined Steemit in 2018. I am actively using it since January 2021 which makes a total of 17 months of activity.

• At least 1000 SP of their own (not delegated)
  I have 23,717.93 SP of my own at the time of writing this application.

• A reputation of at least 60
  I have a reputation of 73.948 at the time of writing this application.

---

• Live permanently in the country they want to be a Country Rep for
  I was born in Pakistan, have always lived in Pakistan, and have no plans of moving to another country.

• Be fluent in the main language of the country they want to be a Country Rafor
  I can fluently speak, converse and write in Urdu (National language) and in English (Official language).

• Have a CSI and voting pattern that clearly demonstrates that they are already supporting other Steemians in the country they want to be a Country Rep for.
  I try to maintain my CSI above 15 and at the time of writing this application, my voting CSI is 16.7.

If I am given a chance to represent my country, I will surely divert the focus more to my country.

• I am actively curating, commenting, advising, guiding, and organizing contests for Steemians for more than a year. Below is the timeline of the major roles and my experience on Steemit.

It was a hard decision but I had to resign from the two communities last month so that I could focus more on my country. Especially in the Newcomers' Community as it is a very sensitive and crucial job to verify and guide Newcomers.

• I have never powered down and always focused on power-ups. I had been following club75 and will finally be a part of club100 within this week.

• I strongly criticize the use of bid bots and voting services and have never taken any such service personally. I support organic growth.

Why do I think I would make a good country representative?

I have been actively doing whatever is required of a CR for more than a year, selflessly. I provide support and guidance to Pakistanis and have always gone beyond a moderator, especially in Steemit Pakistan. I have led the community on numerous occasions and volunteered to take charge whenever there was a need.

I have successfully led my curation team for several months and have never given a chance of complain even once. I take my responsibilities seriously.

I am the only Greeter from Pakistan in the revised group of Greeters. Being a part of this team, I am already guiding Newcomers which is a primary job of a CR.

I have conducted several Q&A sessions on Zoom and have always been a part of guidance sessions conducted by present CRs.

I have taken part in many promotional activities such as live sessions on Instagram, designing and distributing Steemit brochures. I move a lot within the country which enables me to do promotions country-wide.

I shall conclude with this; it would be an honor to represent my country but it won't change anything if I don't get the role, as you will still see me contributing to the platform.
