ASSALAM U ALAIKUM, I hope you all are in good health. I’m also good alhamdullilah.
So I was kind of busy in taking care of my grandfather as he has been suffering from Covid. He isn’t well though, due to having problem in breathing he hasn’t been admitted in a hospital. I request you all that please make dua for my dada jan. 😞
Anyways let’s start the Diary from 10th of August.

MORNING

I woke up at 11 a.m. it was a good weather that day. I Brushed my teeth, cleansed my face and then made breakfast for myself . I was craving for some French toast and that day but just couldn’t gather that enough amount of energy to make them. 😂 this pandemic and quarantine days have turned me into a very lazy person .
Anyways I made just scrambled eggs with some right chili powder and tomatoes with toast and breakfast. anyways I made just scrambled eggs with some right chili powder and tomatoes with toast in breakfast.

After breakfast I was thinking about a special gift for my uncle who is coming from abroad. I had also bought a T-shirt and a hoodie for him, but still it does not feel enough. So I thought about making an embroidered hoop, which is something I am very good at for him.
I take some time and keep thinking about the ideas what should I make for him he has some favorite TV series which is supernaturals and Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s. And homeless in the afternoon I came to the conclusion that I should make a portrait of himself with embroidery.

NOON

At around 1:30 PM I started working on that hoop, I took out a white fabric, hard cotton fabric on which my threads can be attached very neatly. I also used some fabric paints to fulfill the tiny, detailed parts of the picture.

first I drew my uncle on that fabric with pencil then I embroidered it by using a certain stitch which is also known as a coloring stitch.

Then I made the tree which was in the original picture of him standing in Malaysia. And colored the tree by using fabric paints.

After coloring the whole bottom of the tree. I started making little cherry blossom flowers on the bushes of the tree. I made those little little flowers with French knots with a single knot and some with double knots.

EVENING

In the evening I almost completed the tree off the hoop. Had my evening tea with that.

After completing the story I was a bit tired because I was working continuously from the afternoon. So I went on my roof because it was a very very good weather that day and walk to bed to relax myself.

NIGHT

In the night I was craving for some burgers and fries from KFC so I asked my mother and father to visit some near KFC shop.


After coming back home I completed the rest of the hoop because there were just some small details that I had to write with embroidery and it was obviously the name of my uncle. He is a doctor in profession.

After completing my embroidery hoop, unexpectedly my cousins arrived and we went to the nearest chai cafe to my house. And had tea there.

Also in the last I’m sharing some details of that embroidered hoop which I made today.
