Hello and welcome to all! I have been unusually busy for this whole past week due to which I haven't been able to make a diary post but I saw a weekly review challenge happening and I just knew that I had to participate in it.

It is a well known fact that Skincare is part of a healthy lifestyle and since skin is the largest organ in the human body, it definitely should be taken better care of. Skincare has always been important to me as I have very bad skin. From a young age, I encountered acne on my face which I wanted to get rid of. Obviously I tried many products on my skin to find the ones that suited my skin the most.

Today I will be reviewing two products that I am currently using and they have been working amazingly for me. The products that I am currently using are The Ordinary's "Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5" and "Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%". I have been using both the products as a pair for more than a month now and this is the second time that I bought this pair.

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5

I will start by sharing my thoughts on the Hyaluronic Acid. The product aims to rehydrate the skin by attracting 1,000 times its weight in water and preserving the moisture within the skin. This product is to be applied in the morning and evening before applying any cream to the skin. It has Vitamin B5 which helps in keeping the skin soft, plump and healthy. Together both the Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin B5 help the skin heal and get rid of any scars. These properties help in making the skin look younger and fresher.

The Ordinary Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) 10% + Zinc 1%

As someone who deals with combination skin with oily T-zone, the Niacinamide serum has been working like a dream for me. After a lot of researching for the perfect skincare for my skin type, I came across this serum and it changed my life. The aim of this serum is to minimize pores and regulate sebum. It has a high-strength vitamin and mineral blemish formula. This serum is my secret to keeping oily skin, pores and acne away. It also boosts collagen production and reduces inflammation, hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles.

Layering the Serums'

Layering skincare products together can be more difficult than it seems. However, if played carefully, it can work amazingly and can benefit one's skin easily. The Ordinary provides its costumers with many products and also many duos. One of the most popular ones is the duo that I currently am using. The Hyaluronic acid 2% + B5 and Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% combination compliment each other a lot as they have similar hydrating effects. Niacinamide increases the levels of ceramides, fatty acids, and cholesterol in the outer layer off skin whereas Hyaluronic acid keeps regulating the water and moisture in your skin.

Together these two serums work on the hydration of one's skin and boost collagen production along with getting rid of any fine lines or wrinkles. I have been using them for months now and am buying them together for the second time. I have been getting lot of compliments from my family and friends regarding my smooth and healthy skin. I used two 30 ml bottles first and for the second time I bought a bigger size which is 60 ml.

Conclusion

In the end I would just like to say that these two products have changed my life for the better and have given me fantastic results. By using Hyaluronic acid and Niacinamide, you will see immediate results and with continuous use, the effectiveness will peak in about 8-12 weeks. Its best to lather a good heavy moisturizer at the end at night, and for A.M use, apply sunblock over it. I would recommend this to anyone who has both dry and oily skin as these serums work on repairing both these skin types.
