I wanted to take a break from usual routine. Part of me wanted to go back home to meet parents and siblings. Thankfully I was able to experience what I wanted to. What bugs me is the time which passes by so quickly whenever you find yourself in a content and happy state. Sadly, break had to come to an end and I came back to Karachi last week to continue with life.

Karachi and sea go hand in hand so my first stop after coming back to Karachi was at sea. Although I didn't want to come sooner but let me be honest, I had missed the sea entire time I was away. The intimidating sound of sea waves, cool breeze and the darkness which prevails after the sun set was truly missed.

At work place, it was all about usual deliverables but little did I know our department had a cricket match which was truly a great get away during working hours. We had two matches. Our team won one and lost one which made us eliminated from the tournament but in general the experience, commitment to win, giving our all was a great thing.

Lastly, being a Taurus it is hard not to talk about food. I had missed the mint margarita here at my work place. They introduced these tiny shots which looked so cool and refreshing. Just a sip and it makes you want it more. That's a cool marketing strategy in my opinion.

Day usually ends up at "Islamabad". It is not the real Islamabad but a place which resembles like the actual one. Calm, serene, green and at peace. Me and my colleagues call our day off by going here, talk nothing much, nothing special, just vibe in the surrounding and the cycle repeats.
