BETTERLIFE. BEST DAY OF MY WEEK. THE DIARY GAME. 23/4/21. MY FIRST SEHRI DRIVE. 1 LAC RUPEES COLLECTED.

Hello everyone how're you all? This is my 10th post in the diary game and indeed the best day of the week.

It was my first ever sehri drive of my life. So fingers were crossed as I've never done this before. It's a really really responsible work and no blunders could be accepted. My team and I were able to collect a total of 1 lac rupees and it felt like a huge burden and a responsibility on our shoulders

The started as usual by me making sehri. After that I slept woke up in afternoon offered my prayers, got done with my iftar and then left for the meeting point of our ie, gulshan e iqbal.
We convened there around 10 pm and waited for the food and drinks to come.
At around 1 am all our preparations were done and we left for CIVIL HOSPITAL KARACHI at ariund 1:30 am in one car and 4 bikes, a total of 10 team members.

SEHRI DRIVE

We reached civil hospital around 2 am and started with our food distribution. There were thousands of attendees there who were bound with their patients and couldn't leave them. There were thousands of people laying on the sidewalk, trying to sleep amidst the crowd. There were hundreds of people roaming around clueless.
Amidst these people we parked our car and started distributing. 2 of our boys took charge of making 1 plate a person. 4 of us started distributing the food and 4 of us made sure that no one tries to break the order and rush at us

By the grace of God it was a successful drive. There was no chaos, total control over the situation and we distributed over 100 plates of food*

Alhumdulilah.

We even visited the emergency department of the hospital and distributed food over there as well.
There were doctors who were busy doing there duties. Patients in worse conditions and attendees who couldn't leave there loved ones.

Over all it was a successful drive. After getting done with our drive we headed over to cantt station Karachi to have sehri. There we all ordered our food and had sehri in peace.

After being done with sehri we left for gulshan back again and heard the azaan on our way back.

So this indeed was my best day of the week. I cant mention in words how happy i was on this day. JazaqAllah to all the people who supported me in this
