Assalam O Alaikum Steemians!
This is Rida Aly, back with another series of fiction review. And this time I am here to not just talk about english fiction, but urdu fiction too.
No matter what language it is, fiction is always a beautiful dream that is picturised in your mind and takes your soul to the whole new world. A beautiful fictional world!
I am a crazy fan of fiction and I love suggesting fiction to other people too. I catch a different vibe with fiction lovers.
I mean, who would not want a musical silence on a moony night, fictional book in your hand, your favourite scented candle just by your side and you absorbed in an imaginary world, with each letter of book adding more to your imaginations!
I know it sounds too dreamy but thats what we fiction lovers look up to!

Here I am gonna quote beautiful lines said by famous American writer, Isaac Asimov:

"Individual science fiction stories may seem as trivial as ever to the blinder critics and philosophers of today – but the core of science fiction, its essence has become crucial to our salvation if we are to be saved at all.”

Under the light of this beautiful quote, I am gonna share top 3 fiction novels that you can't put down once you start it. A must-read fiction which you cant quit!

THE KITE RUNNER
-BY KHALED HOSSEINI

CYMERA_20211221_002825.jpg

The Kite Runner, phenomenal book by Khaled Hosseini, needs no introduction as it is one of the most remarkable books of present age. The book is an epitome of emotional cycles. Even I was surprised in various parts of the book, although sometimes it seemed cliche. But what I personally loved the most about this book is it's use of words and their picture in mind.
The story of Kite Runner deals with the general theme of friendship, loyalty, betrayal, guilt, trauma and redemption. The development of the characters is presented with much humanity.
This novel is very beautiful and poetic and so close to my heart. I appreciate Khaled Hosseini for bringing in an Afghan perspective to the worldly mainstream. Each character and situation has brought to life and is a new perspective that has never been seen before. Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini is a story that will stay with you for a long time, even after you have put down the novel.
Its been 2 years since I have read this novel and still I can picture each and every detail of this novel in my mind. Surely, its a master-piece of all times!

EVERYTHING EVERYTHING
-BY NICOLA YOON

CYMERA_20211221_002630.jpg

Award Winning!
If I had to sum up the Everything Evrything into one word, it would be: Award Winning. From the creative cover of the novel to the storyline and characters, all of it was just so captivating. It made me think so much about life’s struggles and all the blessings we have. Yet how ungrateful we are for all those blessings. After reading this book, I came up the thought that biggest blessing in the world is Health. No matter how wealthy you are, if you are not blessed with good health than who cared for your money. This novel made me see the beauty of life.
I really enjoyed reading this novel, especially the last 1/3 part of the book! It had a distinctive postulate, a very suitable main character, a nice and sweet romance, and a great message after all.
Nicola Yoon has never failed to surprise me with her thoughtful novels. I have always admired her vision, since childhood. Like how beautifully she manage to give each character a very different personality. Like Madeline, main character of this novel, who is displayed as helpless and acts way too younger than her actual age. Or Ollie, who is a reckless, charming, handsome but extremely caring guy. Or Madeline’s mother, you can also call her an evil witch, was later found out to be insane. Everything Everyhthing itself is just full of twists and climax, which just makes it even more interesting!

PEER E KAMIL
-BY UMERA AHMED

CYMERA_20211221_003131.jpg

Peer E Kamil is hands down the biggest acheivement of Umera Ahmed.
Its a beautiful, beautiful novel depicting a boy, named as Salar Sikander, who is blessed with 150+ IQ level and is facing a great changes in his life.
While on the other hand, there comes another main character of a girl, named Imama Hashim, who after spending ages of her life, finally find out the true religion and escaped from her cruel family and met her prince charming, Salar Sikandar, in a very suspenseful way!
Peer e Kamil is the first novel with which I had built up spiritual connection. There were so many moments which left me teary-eyed and I could not stop myself from invading the deepest thoughts behind those scenes.
It was this spiritual content which atracted me towards Peer e Kamil.
Umera Ahmed has literally put her heart and soul in this novel. Hats off to this amazing author!!
This book deserves all the praise in the world.

I am a Fiction Lover. Hi five. ✋

I cried a lot while reading Kite Runner and felt so miserable. It's a master piece by Hosseni.

Haven't read the second book but sounds interesting.

Peer e Kaamil is one of the few and the first Urdu novels I read. I agree it changed me a lot too spiritually back then. It's the only novel that I have re-read. Not twice or thrice but eight times to be precise. 😅

Peer e kamil is THE BEST peice of Umera Ahmed, no doubt. ❤️
I am also plannjng to re-read it once my exams are over.

Peer e kamil is one of my favorites one 👍 I really wanna read it again ☺️thanks for the reminder 😃🌸

I'm never a fiction book lover but will try these inshaAllah.
