Assalam u alikum and Hello to fellow Steemians. I hope that you all are fine & doing great. Today I'm writing for the Weekly Engagement Contest Week #16 which is City Life Vs Village Life started by @steemit-pak in STEEMIT Pakistan.

In simple words, Village life is all about the lifestyle in rural areas whereas City life shows the urban lifestyle. Life in both rural and urban areas has its own plus points and problems. I will discuss both and let you know which lifestyle I do like.

City Life

There is a huge difference between the village life and the city life. Facilities and opportunities are greater in urban life but also there are some prone in city life such as crime, tension, stress, pollution and bad health.

Village Life

Rural life or Village life is free from problem of pollution, noise, lack of water supply, overcrowding, traffic jam and crime. Yeah it’s true that there is a lack of modern facilities in rural or village areas but the clean air and peace are very beneficial for living healthy life.

City Life Advantages	City Life Disadvantages
City life gives you better job opportunities	City life can be stressful
Higher wages in big cities	May not be suitable if you love nature
Better overall infrastructure	You may get stuck in traffic jams
Better education opportunities in cities	Crowded inner cities
Higher medical standards	Heat may concentrate in big cities
Easier to find a partner in cities	Parking can be a problem in big cities
Higher level of tolerance	Higher rent in cities
Better overall entertainment in cities	May not be suitable if you are more like a Desi
You may not even need a car	Air pollution in cities
Better access to latest technologies	City life implies noise pollution

Summary: As we have seen above that Cities provide quality education with more jobs for people on higher wages because all kinds of big institutions, organizations, and industries are located in the city area. A huge number of people come to the city in search of education, jobs and standard of life. Disadvantages: Expensive – Living in the city comes at a premium for some people that means living in congested places.

Village Life Advantages	Village Life Disadvantages
Less noisy	Less entertainment, No Cinema's etc.
Clean and fresh air	Distance to Important places like Hospitals
Less Population	Less chances of having quality schools
Chances of having better neighbors are higher	Less Internet Facilities
less crime ratio	Lesser variety of different foods
Cost of living is cheaper	Less Job opportunities
More animals if you are animal or pet lover	Public Transport Issue
Privacy due to bigger homes in villages	Shopping problem, no big brands
Can have a big garden if you are a plant lover	Hard to find any type of mechanics
Easy to get fresh Milk and Yogurt	less education opportunities

Summary: In villages the environment is peaceful and people enjoys the beautiful gifts of nature which allow them to breathe pure air. This is why, People living in villages are more healthier, active. Disadvantages: No Standard of Education, Less Job opportunities, Hospitals are far away from the homes. Less variety of foods as well as less entertainment opportunities.

Which Life do I like? City Life or Village Life?

Many people would say that I'm mental or something like this but seriously I do like living in Village. As these days, I have to stay in the CITY just because of my Job (Most of you already know that I'm a Punjab Police Officer at PSCA which is an Integrated command control center of Punjab Police Pakistan.

I'm 28 years old and I have spent my 18 years in Village and 10 years living in different cities. And I came to a point that I'm a nature and peace lover. That's why I love living in village, although the facilities are very less there but a person like me can manage everything just because my village is also not far away from the city.

Conclusion: -

In conclusion, city life is generally better than village life because of convenience. In the city, you can get whatever you want and quickly. But if you want to be healthy, active and need peace, comfort in life then Village Life is best.

Simple is that, If you want facilities then live in a City or at Urban area but if you can prefer peace and comfort over facilities then live in a village or Rural Area.
