Every country has its own culture , here in Pakistan there is a cultural diversity that means alot of different cultures can be seen here as different types of people reside here muslim , Hindu , punjabi , pathan , balochi , sindhi etc.
As this weeks challenge is about my country's culture so I thought of what i like most that is the religious one . EID , there are two Eids ; Eid-ul-fitr and Eid-ul-azha. EID-UL-FITR comes after ramadan that is the gift of God and EID-UL-AZHA comes after 2 months of the other in which we slaughter cow , sheep , animal in way of Allah.
Here i will talk about my most favorite that is Eid-ul-fitr. Before it we fast for a month that is our holy month ramadan and we earn alot of Allah's blessings and eid is one such blessing.
EID-UL-FITR;
Eid is all about dressing up, sheer khorma, recieving eidi, meeting friends and family, having dawats , greetings , blessings and much more. 3 days we dress up and everyone has different plans for all 3 days.
Day 1 is main which starts by the Eid namaz where all the males get ready wear new clothes and go to perform namaz after which they meet everyone out there and come back home where the females get ready and wait for them.
Then sheer khorma , chaat , sweets and other things made at home are served and then comes the best part that is recieving Eidi from elders . Eidi is given in form of money usually but it can be a gift as well. first person to give eidi is our father we eagerly wait for him to return from namaz so that we can get it .

Many people start preparing for eid 2 months before as it's a bit hard to go out in Ramadan while fasting and also this month is to worship as much as possible so its better to prepare for eid before. Similarly i also did all.the shopping before only. New dresses , footwear , jewelry , gifts for others etc. Its so fun to prepare for eid .
Early in the morning we get ready , meet our relatives , have yummy food and enjoy. We collect eidi from everyone and in the end we count that how much money we got and decide where to spent it 😅. These 3 days so amazing and tiring too .
A day before eid is chaand raat in which moon sighting is done to confirm the eid and then preparations are done. For girls mehndi is a must atleast for me there is no eid without mehndi and bangles. Some people stay awake whole night and do preps and sleep whole day on eid after namaz , others would go to there relatives house .

Of course you are right that everyone is different from the country but alhamdulillah we are muslims and pakistani who are waiting for us eid al fitr and he is waiting for many cultures like we are waiting for eid al fitr after this ramadan And it seems from your words that you are also very much interested in this thing and I am glad that you have shared such a festival with us and will continue to carry this thing with us.

Eid is one of the most enjoyable festivals where everyone forgets their anger and tries to meet happily with others.
Ye collecting eidi is one of the most favorite parts of Eid but now we don't get Eidi. Idk what happened in between the years when we stopped getting that and now it's a routine.

Eid Mubarak! Eid is a day that gets us together with each other. As we met our relatives and have fun. You have described everything so beautifully.
At my home, the exact opposite happens as our father gave us the Eidi at the very end after shedding some tears and pressing his legs lol.

Eid is one of the most awaited events every year by all the Muslims in the world. Everything about it is so exciting. From chand raat till the third day of Eid, every day is fun filled.
