PREPARATION LEADING TO VISIT AT IMTIAZ SUPERMARKET
Before Eid a preparation is made so we can enjoy the festivity of Eid ul Azha along with the meat in coming days. The preparation brought us to Imtiaz Supermarket Gulshan Branch. We bought grocery and some essential spices ,coal and other stuff for the proper cooking and devouring of some tasty meaty food. Although, Imtiaz supermarket has brought many varieties of items under one roof but it still takes a lot of time to buy. It has all electronic, cosmetics, meat, vegetables, edible and non edible grocery, clothes and much more. The prices are also very economical that accounts for supermarket to be always super crowded.
Alhumdullilah after exiting a long billing queue we headed to our house.
SACRIFICE:THE MAIN ESSENCE OF EID
So first thing first, as Qurbani(Sacrifice) is the sunnat-e-Ibrahimi which is the main ritual of Eid-ul-Azha. Early morning after namaz e eid our goat was sacrficed on first day of Eid. Eid comprises of three days on which you can perform your sacrfice.
Of course, I missed the goat and it surely is a little sad moment when your goat/cow is being sacrificed. Although I am little afraid of goats but I still fed them few times and before their sacrifice.
After sacrifice, eat distribution and cleaning of home, lots of different tasks gave to be performed. So after the handling and distribution of meat among poor and cleaning of house.My mother made kaleji which I was not able to eat. I decided to rest. However, I could not rest a bit as my cousins and Khala(maternal aunt )came over. We decided to order pizza.
ATTENDING WEDDING
So as a girl, I really love weddings. Although at times I really do not want to be part of them .Well we all are moody and so am I. Anyways we (my family) were going for a wedding after a really long time. Wedding was at Hilton Grand Banquet situated in Gulshan e Iqbal.
My maternal cousins were also there, We clicked photos together and enjoyed the evening .Then the best part of wedding was served. Okay so for me best part of wedding other than getting dressed up is FOOD.
I could not click the picture of each entre.However,the dinner consisted of Chicken Biryani, Karahi, Seekh Kabab, Roasted chicken along with spring roll and Ice cream was served in dessert section. So after wedding we retired ourselves to a peaceful sleep.
