Let's Talk Paranormal | My Experience with the monster | by @yakspeace

Hello everyone, how are we doing today. I'm here once again to participate in a contest organized by this community and @event-horizon. Thank you very much for this amazing contest. Today i will be sharing with you all a true life story about myself and my friends during our university days.

I gained admission into federal university wukari Taraba State Nigeria in the year 2016. I was so happy being at the school and everything was moving perfectly well for me not until one faithful day we were attack on our way going back home with my friends. During my first year at the university, I stayed inside the school campus but the second year the school refused to give us accommodation inside the school so i have to go out and rent an apartment with my friends.

One day we went to school with my friends to study in the evening. Around 9:00pm I told my friends that we should go back home but according to them they said we should stay for an hour before we go home which I agreed. When it was 10pm we all left the school environment but reaching the school gate we did not see any bike that will take us back home so Mary said we should track back home. I was so scared because the school is far from our apartment. But we were left with no choice than to track back home.

The road was very lonely, no vehicle were passing around the area. As we reached the junction to our house,we saw four guys standing at the junction, at first we thought it was some of the students living around us so we walk down the road, immediately the four guys turn into a monstar, and their body was half human and half animal. We were all scared and I told my friends that we should run, but the monsters were following us with full speed, we were screaming and calling people for help but no one came out to help us

Immediately i reached home, we found out that Mary was not home yet, because when we were running we all followed different direction. We were worried then we tried calling her number, unfortunately someone picked the call and told us that our friend is death, I never believed what he said until the next day as we were going out in search of her, we saw her death body laying down at the junction. They cut some of her body parts.😭😭 And left her necked on the street. I was so heart broken 💔 seeing my friend lying down death, through out that day i was not myself,I cried and cried.

The school later hard about the incident then they started marking their investigation, after some weeks they found out that there are monsters in the land who kill people and use their body parts for rituals as it was election period. So the school asked all the students staying in my Area to move back to the hostel, and that was how we left that area.

For the past two weeks after we have moved into the hostel, I was not able to sleep well because, anytime i close my eyes i will see those monsters in my dream. Seriously i was so lucky if not i could have been death by now, but the memories of my dear friend Mary is still fresh in my head and i missed her so much.🥺
