Hello community, today I join the musical contest "Music For Steem- I LOVE THE SIXTIES- NEW CHALLENGE (60s Music) with my favorite song of sixties by Elvis Presley "All I Needed Was the Rain" released on October 2, 1967.

Elvis had his own unique style of music and performance. He also danced on stage, swinging his hips. At the time, many adults were shocked by his music and dance. When he performed on shows, he was usually asked not to dance or was shot up to the waist. The teens, however, loved Elvis' music and dancing.

Elvis, Scotty and Bill went to Sun Records and started performing different songs. Sam Phillips heard the boys play and realized they had the hit song "That's All Right" . He recorded the song and it was played on the radio three days later. Elvis was on his way to becoming a star.

After the release of "All I Needed Was the Rain", Elvis started playing in local clubs and won over fans. Soon, Elvis, Scotty, and Bill were touring most of the Midwest performing concerts. Elvis has appeared on several television shows such as The Milton Berle Show, The Ed Sullivan Show, and The Steve Allen Show. Now he was popular in the world of music.
