The role of the bassist is one of the few things I listen to while listening to music. The melody of the bass will hold in your subconscious or abstract mind the emotion that a song will create in your conscious mind.
There is no bass option to uplift the groove of the drums and balancing the bass tone between the guitar and the drums will create a melody in your subconscious mind that will keep the song in your humming room for a long time. And in that charismatic place there is no pairing of 70s and 80s compositions.
In simple Bengali song composition, bass guitar and bassist are like salt.
As a sample, Black Sabbath's Lonely Is the World track. Here the guitar solo surpasses the drums and the bass notes between the guitars.

গান শোনার মাঝে কয়েকটা বিষয়ের মাঝে বেইজিস্ট এর রোল টা আমার কাছে অন্যতম। একটা গান আপনার চেতন মনে যে আবেগ তৈরি করবে সেই আবেগ আপনার অবচেতন বা এবস্ট্রাকট মাইন্ডে ধরে রাখবে বেইজের মেলোডি।
