A bass riff starts up this song, a riff which is doubled an octave higher, intermittently, during the song.
A well saturated guitar makes the rhythm interesting.
A distinctive crash cymbal gives an alternate marching feeling to the drum beat.
A "sololike" squealing guitar is the song's most memorable bit.
The second part of the song has a more jazzy feeling where lyrics are nearly spoken.
In the end, it's "cool" waking up from a rare sleep paralysis.
Lyrics:
Dazed by the thunder under torrential rain,
driven by the ghastly wind, blinded by the lightning.
Screaming louder than a bell in agonizing pain.
Is anyone surviving this? Is anybody listening?
I wake up, I'm cold and wet, fluctuating on clouds.
There's nowhere I can firmly stand.
Deep into the void I drown.
More I try to float, the deeper I sink.
Immobilised I try to scream but in vain.
Words can't describe the terror I'm feeling.
Can't open my eyes, can feel no more pain.
I'm loosing control, what on earth is happening ?
A stream of light breaks through the darkness.
An angelic figure holds out her hand.
I'm starting to doubt my sanity.
Am I still alive?
Erupt by @virtualex-steem/
I released this track some time after I finished "Restless". "Restless" was writing during the last months of a software project I had been working on for more than two years.
"Erupt" was done after the release of said software which felt like a relief to some extent (intensity remained high during the first weeks of bug fixing etc. :-) )
Between "Restless" and "Erupt" I got myself a bundle of the Output Instruments (Substance, Exhale and Analog Strings) and used them for the first time in "Erupt".
That was fun in the first place but this track gave me the worst mixing experience I had lived through so far.
I had so many sessions trying to mix the "rich" sounds from the Output plugins that I might have spent more time mixing this than producing it ;-). I am still not entirely happy with the sound but I guess I have to accept that this is as good as I am currently able to do it.
Since Erupt I have been using the Output Plugins very selectively :-).
Early Spring by Kjrk Kjrksen
Finally it will be spring again, everything new, everything will wake up again! Have fun with the track! I hope that you like it.

Sick Shark & The Turtle Project - Don`t Wake Me (Dream Mix) by @sickshark
LYRICS
Don't wake me up
I'm dreaming
I can't float any higher
I'm touching the ceiling
Open up the skylight
So I can drift on up into the blue
Open up my mind's eye
So I can get A clearer View
Don't wake me up
I'm dreaming
I can't float any higher
I'm touching the ceiling
Open up the skylight
So I can drift on up into the blue
Open up my mind's eye
So I can get A clearer View
I'm so cold and alone
I need to find my way back home
I need to find my way back home
Open up the skylight
So I can drift on up into the blue
Open up my mind's eye
So I can get A clearer View

George: guitars, samples
Dave: bass, dums, djembe, calve, EDP Wasp
Samples: the Prague metro
Fun Facts:
Week Five is a tune that George wrote around the time of his TEFL course.
It was a four week course, and Week Five is all the stuff that happens to you as a teacher after completing that initial course of training.
The sound of the Prague Metro was recorded on George’s tape recorder that he used during his teaching.
He simply pressed record and left the thing running as he went from his digs at the Hotel Opatov to the office of his school in Albertov to capture some sounds of the city.
