Executive Magistrate and Chagalnaya Upazila Assistant

On Sunday (June 18), a mobile court conducted an operation against unlicensed illegal cable operators in Chagalnaya Bazar, Feni.

Executive Magistrate and Chagalnaya Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. An illegal organization called Mukta Cable Network was fined Tk 50,000 in this operation led by Fakhrul Islam.

Bangladesh Television Noakhali sub-centre license inspector Akram Ul Islam and members of the law enforcement force were present at this time.

Chagalnaya Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Fakhrul Islam said that the regular operation of mobile court against illegal cable operators will continue.

A former Chhatra League leader named Mohammad Lincoln (22) was killed in a head-on collision between a pickup and a motorcycle in Rupganj, Narayanganj.

The accident happened on Sunday (June 18) around 2:00 pm at Chanpara intersection of Chanpara Purvgram road in the upazila.

Deceased Mohammad Lincoln is the son of deceased Abdus Sattar of Mala Market area of Demra police station in Dhaka. He is the former General Secretary of Chhatra League, Ward No. 69 of Demra Police Station.

According to police and local sources, Lincoln was coming from Rupganj towards Demra on a motorcycle. Meanwhile in, there was a head-on collision perfect with a pickup coming from the opposite main direction at Chittagong Chanpara intersection close. Lincoln died on the spot.

Rupganj Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Ataur Rahman told Jago News that the body was handed over to the family as there was no complaint.
