A group of youths called and raped a housewife in Dhalia Union of Feni Sadar Upazila. A case has been filed against seven people including the local Jubo League leader in this incident. The main accused in the case, Zainal Abdin Rubel, brother-in-law of the housewife, has been arrested by the police.

On Monday (May 29), when the accused was brought to court, Chief Judicial Magistrate Court Judge Kamrul Hasan granted a two-day remand in view of the application.

According to the source of the case, the husband of the victim housewife received Tk 50,000 from accused Zainal Abdin Rubel. Rubel keeps wasting time when he wants money. At one point, on the afternoon of May 25, he called Bhabhi in front of the board office to collect the owed money. From there, he took an autorickshaw to a tin shed in front of Nur Alam Badshar's house, general secretary of Awami League ward of East Dhalia area. Hanif Raju, son of Ward No. 4 Jubo League general secretary Hafeez Ahmed, Jasim Babul, Acting General Secretary of Ward No. 6 Jubo League, and Sohail and Rubel took turns raping and raping her.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Feni Model Police Station Nizam Uddin said that the court granted two-day remand of the accused. He has been kept in the custody of Feni Model Police Station for questioning.

Shajahan Khan, a presidium member of the Awami League and the president of the Standing Committee of the Ministry of Liberation War of the Jatiya Sangsad, said that because Sheikh Hasina is there, the labor union is not occupied, the owner's association is not occupied, and no terminal is occupied.
