Posee importantes propiedades anticancerigenas que se potencian con su contenido de vitamina A, C, E. Aminoácido sin y potasio, protege el corazón, favorese a eliminar el colesterol malo del organismos y sus contenido de fibras, lo que proviene de enfermedades cardiovasculares y protege la salud del corazón, la presencia del cromo un mineral encargado de regular la glucosa en la sangre, ayuda tambien a prevenir la hipertensión arterial, desintoxica el organismo, sus propiedades antioxidantes ayudan a eliminar las toxinas los radicales libres y el ácidobulico, purificando la sangre y la piel. Sirve para comerlo, en varios tipos de comida como por ejemplo, Saltado de pollo con brócoli, carne con brócoli, ensalda de brócoli, crema de brócoli, tortilla de brócoli, comida super saludable.
