Hello @steemhealth community, my name is Luisana and I am a nephrologist, I am from Venezuela, I bring you this post so that we can learn to value life and our health, what we have is valuable because there are those who are having a much worse time.

And it is that health is the most important thing, without it we are more than vulnerable, we are and not at the same time; Doctors live many experiences that make us have our feet more on the ground, we are closely with realities that make us see life from another point of view and perhaps that is why we live more simply.

Well, in this case, I will tell you about a 36-year-old young patient who was in the prime of his life, when overnight due to adhesions from previous surgeries he had an intestinal obstruction, and that is that life changes us in the blink of an eye. And close your eyes, this very low-income boy in charge of his mother has already been waiting for 8 months to undergo a new surgery for an anastomosis and to recover his intestinal transit; But it is that everything in a country situation and a pandemic situation makes things more difficult, almost unattainable.

But life goes on and you have to move forward and keep fighting, keep living, seeing how someone can survive under these circumstances is something that remains etched in your mind forever, so much so that sometimes we go to sleep and only think about that person who suffers so much.

This young man cannot even afford his colostomy bags, he manages to create one perhaps with non-act materials and with little hygiene, but that is what we have to do and it is that we have to continue living.

Let's learn to value our life, let's learn to love those who care for us, let's learn to live healthily and value each breath, our daily bread and thank God and life for giving us how much or little we have because many people are in worse conditions and they still make him want to live, let us pray for these people, pray for their health; anyway let's be grateful.
