Hi everyone! Let's learn the health benefits of Ghee today. Sometimes I get confused that the ghee and butter are almost similar then what is the difference between them? Well, yes, there are differences between ghee and butter.
Ghee is the most common item in India and it has been originated from the Indian subcontinent from the ancient time periods. It is also considered a sacred food in the Indian religion.
In the early centuries, ghee has been used as a cooking medium and it has a record of dominating Indian kitchens till now. At present affording ghee is really expensive. Simply ghee is the clarified butter which means a direct fat collected from milk and removing all the milk solids and water. It contains almost 50% of saturated fat.
You can easily prepare ghee at home. Just buy some butter from the market and heat them to melt. Keep heating until the water and milk solids get separated. And finally, remove all the solids and collect the remaining liquid. This liquid is pure ghee.
Now let's know the health benefits of ghee.
Ghee is much better than any other cooking oil because it has a higher smoke point. Even higher than butter. According to the researchers adding foods with ghee and consuming them might help to absorb more essential minerals and vitamins. Cooking vegetables and other foods with ghee promote absorbing of more nutrients than the normal oils.
Although ghee is expensive. But a little amount of ghee can give a more tasty flavor than regular butter or oils.
Consuming a moderate amount of ghee in our day-to-day life can reduce seasonal allergies and common ailments. It not only contains a bunch of vitamins but also antioxidants. It can boost our immune system and protect our body from diseases.
It can improve our digestion. Stimulating the secretion of the stomach acid ghee can increase overall digestion power. It contains good fats so ultimately ghee can increase good cholesterol levels and decrease the bad cholesterol level in your body. Ghee also can improve our skin by increasing skin glow.
