I am going to participate in the book review contest organized by Steam Bangladesh. Please forgive me for my mistakes. Today I have selected Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay's book "Aranyak" for book review

Some information

• Aranyaka is the fourth novel written by the famous fiction writer Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay (1894-1950).

• It was published in book form in 1939. Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay wrote the novel in the light of his career experience in Bihar.

• The novel Aranyaka was written in 1938-39 AD. It is published in book form from "Katyayani Book Stall". Before being published as a book, it was published continuously in the expatriate monthly magazine from Kartik 1938 to Falgun 1939.

• Bibhutibhushan dedicates this novel to his first wife Gauri Devi..

Aranyaka is a timeless novel of Bibhutibhushan, how many novels in our Bengali literature claim their own identity, Aranyaka is one of them.

Review

Aranyak's story is told in the words of a Bengali youth named Satyacharan. To escape from the curse of unemployment, he moved to Purnia district to manage the huge estate of his friend's father. The boy, who has been hanging out with friends in Kolkata, theater, bioscope and book pages all his life, has a forest land. Didn't feel good at all, thought he would resign in a few days and go to Calcutta! But this magical nature found him and fell in love with him.

The people and nature of this vast forest seemed to bind him in a strange Maya bond! One day on horseback, Lobatulia, Azmabad, Nara Boihar or sitting by the Swaraswati Kunda, watching the solitary jotsna at night, standing in the quiet desert, getting lost in the primitive nature of the forest, all
these things are beautifully portrayed by the author which cannot be understood without reading. !

In this novel, many amiable characters have entered from the shadows of nature. The form of an indomitable hardworking teacher, Jugalprasad, Saralamoyi Kunta, Manchi or sixteen-year-old Vanumati, the stateless king Dobru Panna, who has dedicated his life to the love of the forest, as if one character has come and told a story of life!

And Satyacharan? I will say nothing more about him!

Why is "Aranyaka" unique?

Because it is a wonderful novel that has never been written before, the desire to find nature, its natural beauty, the amazing fascination or the open environment, the survival of the people around it, all come up on the pages of "Aranyaka"!

In fact, the protagonist of this novel is not Satyacharan, he is just a bridge in this novel! The difference between the primitive and the modern civilization has come up in his commentary! But among the primitive wild people who are in the middle of that huge forest, there is no plague among them
, they are free, independent.

Sarariyelistika going through a strange environment, "wild" when read out at the end of the novel, when am I know why I feel bad was coming, a beautiful book to fruition, maybe the same ..

How much do we know about nature? Do we feel the romance, the mystery, the indescribable beauty of this nature with our hearts? Why do we neglect these vast forests, nature.

Criticism

Bibhutibhushan's novel 'Aranyak' is considered by many to be a travel novel. But in fact it is not. Bibhutibhushan Banerjee has traveled, seen and stayed in many places in his life.

Own Opinion

This is a very beautiful novel. I did not feel bored to read. You can understand how easy and simple human life can be while reading this.Happy reading guyz..
