Welcome once again to the English Premier League catch-up matches review. We should not forget that Manchester United was knocked out of the UEFA Champions League last night by Atletico Madrid. That is not our major talking point for today but the catch-up matches line up for us from today being Wednesday till Friday non-stop action.
Quick reminder, please as you are focusing on the catch-up matches, have at the back of your mind that the UEFA Champions League toe is still in process as Chelsea will be in action against Lille and Juventus versus Villarreal respectively.
Brighton will battle Tottenham Hotspur in today's fixture with sides on the wrong foot over the weekend. Brighton lost to Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur lost also to Manchester United over the weekend. With Brighton sitting in the 13th position will Spur tough time as the away team still pursuing of Europa League spot.
The major talking point will be at the Emirates Stadium as Arsenal will battle Liverpool as top 4 hopes and the league title race is at stake. Is gonna be a cracker as the draw will favor the Gunners most and a win will do more harm than good to the Reds.
Everton winless in their 4 matches will Newcastle United on Thursday. Both sides were lost over the weekend and Newcastle United's unbeaten 8 match run ended at Stamford Bridge.
Wolves back to winning ways will host Leeds United which was victorious over the weekend as they ended up their 4 matches losing streak.
A catch-up match does not guarantee anything but just winning the match and hoping for other results from other sides favor you. Everything is at stake to play for. Everton lying in the 16th position is not good news for the Frank Lampard team.
Let us hope things turn out good for the Gunners as the top 4 hope is at stake with Manchester United, West Ham United is also in the pecking order.
I use this medium to invite @ruthjoe and @ellabae to this brilliant contest.

It was indeed a great game and I was fortunate enough to see the Arsenal versus Liverpool match. Today Everton won with 10 men and I can not wait for weekend matches.

The matches were awesome and seeing both games at the same time was fun. Chelsea through to the Quarterfinals is great amid their unrest.
