2020 TRON & BitTorrent X Ecosystem Achievements

TRON is celebrating a record year for its decentralized organization, during which a line of most recent acquisitions, reconciliations, and benchmarks was uncovered. TRON now bolsters the world's biggest dissemination network for entertainment, gaming, trading, and file sharing.

Throughout 2020, records were broken and achievements met on the grounds that the TRON network extended, onboarding numerous new clients and entering new verticals including DeFi. very 1.3 billion exchanges have now been made on the TRON network and more than 16 million wallets made.

TRON highlights in 2020 include the following:

On February 14, TRON founder Justin Sun announced a strategic partnership with and takeover of the decentralized social platform Steemit.
On February 26, the BTFS Mainnet v1.0.2 beta version was officially launched.
In March 2020, Tron reached a total of 721 DApps with a total trading volume of $411 million.
On April 4, JUST, Tron's official DeFi project launched.
On April 27, Samsung Adds Tron Dapps to Galaxy Store.
On May 5, JST, the project token of TRON's first DeFi platform Just made its debut on five crypto exchanges.
On June 1, the latest statistics on SUN network(DAppChain) block explorer revealed that TRON's block height passed the 7 million mark.
On June 23, the global supply of TRC20-USDT reached 2.8 billion surpassing OMNI-USDT to come closer to ERC20-USDT and accounting for 29% of total USDT issued by Tether.
On May 30, the total number of accounts on TRON surpassed 6 million.
On June 17, BTFS Mainnet was launched ahead of IPFS to redefine the data storage method and pioneer a mining reward model.
In July, TRX has listed on 130+ exchanges a total of 350+ spot and fiat trading pairs. Tron contract-powered transaction was supported by 10+ exchanges.
In July, six exchanges including Huobi, Binance, and Poloniex supported TRX stalking.
In July, TRX and JST were integrated into 13,000 ATMs via the MeconCash crypto payment platform.
On July 7, TRON 4.0 Era officially unfolded.
On August 18, JustSwap officially launched.
On August 13, BitTorrent File System became the official decentralized storage platform for JUST token, after it was revealed that BitTorrent's software had been installed by 2 billion users worldwide.
From September 2 to September 16, Sun Genesis Mining was launched.
On September 27, the Upgraded TronZ is launched.
On September 30, BTCTRON is issued by JUST.
On October 13, ETHTRON is issued by JUST.
On October 23, BitTorrent acquired DLive and launched BitTorrent X.
On October 30th TRON launched TRON's first Blockchain Oracle JustLink.
On December 1st, BitTorrent Apps live on Huawei App store.
As of December 2020, a record $6.4 billion of Tether (USDT) now exists on the TRON blockchain, as the total market cap for stable coins across all networks reached $25 billion.
On December 7th, TRON's first borrow lending platform JustLend went live.

In 2021 TRON goes to be centered around developing and scaling their new DeFi framework and growing the functionalities of BTFS, TRON's decentralized storage environment. With various DeFi items, TRON's DeFi plan will utilize JST as an establishment to coordinate decentralized oracle borrow, loaning, trade, and other monetary administrations.
