Introduction of Dung-guli:-

Dung-guli is one of the most popular rural sports in Bangladesh and northern India. This game is usually played by teenagers. In northern India it is called Goli Danda. With the advent of cricket, its popularity has become even more beautiful. In Bangladesh, these games are known as Dangbari, Gutbari, Tamdang, Watadanda, etc. There are two items in the game. The sticks are one or two feet long (lane or danda) and another shot that looks round but without a name is actually another two-inch stick with two pointed ends.
Dang-guli is a popular game in Bengal. Mostly young guys play it. Women don't usually playing.

Rules of the Game :-

One or two sticks are 1.5 to 2 feet long, the other is about 2 inches long and the other is a small stick.
Both ends of the ball strip are slightly pointed. The first is called danda, and the second is a shot or stop.
It is played in two groups of two to five or six people.
Small vertical pits are made at the construction site. One of the winners is shot with a stick into a hole and thrown into the nearest house.

The enemy's forces were scattered to catch the bullets. If you catch the stick before it hits the ground, you get a player with a stick.
If he cannot catch it, the first player inserts his club into the hole, and the opponent shoots his club into the hole.

Many children in the countryside spend about half a day playing. It is cumbersome to find someone who was born in the village but does not play. However, in the era of globalization, this situation has changed thanks to mobile phones.
Now the playground for a teenager is on the monitor of a smartphone or computer.
It's natural to see me playing in the middle of the road on my way home from school.
Bullets no longer chase bullets.
Rice fields and surroundings no longer mix atmospheric line sounds.
It used to be a popular and traditional dance game, but it is now known as a book game. Hanging is an ancient game.
The game dates back to the time of Maurya about 2500 years ago. The game was once very popular in many countries around the world, including the Indian subcontinent and the countries of South Asia.
We should play Dung-guli for our tradition and future generations 🏄
