Few days ago, I came to know about Hiveonboard from a friend of mine. Been a student of Electrical engineering, I was fascinated by the trending terminologies such as Blockchain & Cryptocurrencies and after a comprehensive search and scrutinize, I have finally started my journey in HiveOnBoard with my first post this very month. After a while, looking back at the history of Hiveonboard I then came to know learn about 'steemit'. Since, I am in the beginning of the journey, so thought of giving a try on both the platform. Hence I would like to start my 'steemit' journey with this first post.

My name is Murshedur Rahman and is an engineering professional, currently employed as head of maintenance department in a shoe manufacturing company. I have an accumulated 8yrs of experience, in the maintenance department with other garment and textile industries. Apart from that, I have also worked independently as an Industrial electrical safety auditor and as adjunct instructor in technical college. So far so good, but spending a lots of time on the internet mostly in social medias, I would now like to convert this time and energy into something fruitful. Moreover, I do not want to be isolated from these trending concepts of Blockchain & Cryptocurrencies. This is what led me into platforms known as HiveOnBoard and Steemit.

The faith I have gained on these platforms is due to witnessing the success of my fellow colleague and a close friend of mine who could be said as a sophomore in the community. He too had a long journey in the sphere of social medias, from been a blogger, to creating an own channel in Youtube, and having a page in facebook but as per his experience and accomplishment nothing have been more successful than to be an active member in steemit community. Later it took me a while in studying the process, how it works, population engaged in it and its infrastructure. All in all, it seems pretty good and trustworthy of your time and energy. Here many have actively joined the community hence I could get set and give it a go.

Moreover I do not want to waste my time on anything that will not yield any benefit to me. Something that is rewarding me for my time spent on the internet, something that instigate me in thinking creatively and be part of a community is obviously a better option. I have a long way to go, with a plan on my mind but for now I am just crossing the fingers and got on board for the journey. As time goes, I will try to connect with the existing member of the community and everything goes well I will also hope to add members from my offline community (friend circle) along with me in creating a bigger network. Therefore I wish and request all the members of Steem Bangladesh community in accepting me as a new member in the family and help in achieving my goals.
