Good day to all participants and I hope we are all doing well. Before I start with my travel review, I would like thank the organizers of this contest @toufiq777 and the Steem Bangladesh community for making it possible and available to everyone, we really appreciate. My review of a travel place I have visited is a very small rural town called Nankuma.
I had an opportunity to visit this town through a research program given to us by our school thus University for Development Studies UDS. Is a part of the school curriculum that students must go for a field practical program of their first and second year stay in the school during the third trimester in groups, to stay there for at least three weeks whilst socializing with town or community members or learning their way of life. My group was given a small town called Nankuma. The town is located in the Nkoranza South Municipal in Bono East Region of Ghana. It is located in the middle portion of the Bono East Region. It lies within Longitudes 1º 10″W and 1° 55’W and Latitudes 7 º 20″N and 7º 55″N.
The only means of getting to the town is by taking bus to its district capital then, ‘this is the fun part’ either a motorcycle, taxi or really small vehicle that can navigate through the path heading to the town, a bus would be very difficult to use. And the other “fun” part is that, the town is about 5km from the district capital, so is always a long and dangling ride moving to the town.
The town is rural community of about 50 houses, with most people engaging in farming as their main profession. There aren’t any well fabricated or huge structures in the town, nor is there a hotel. The only somewhat well-furnished structure is the community’s only school, which is an elementary school.
There a variety of locally prepared food available in the town but what I stocked to was a meal of fried yam and plantain with grinded pepper, it was really my favorite. There was also a locally made wine that the people of the town prepared themselves0, the palm wine. I though I didn’t take wine at that time, but I could tell from my friends who took it that it was soothingly delicious.

There isn’t any famous or any tourist site over there either, but the town was really a great place to be because of the natives of it. Very calm and good hospitality treating people was one of the reasons this town is always on my mind, and I plan on going there once again someday.
Thank you for reading, and good luck to all participants.
