Friends, today is Sunday 21 February 2021.Actually today is International Mother Language Day.Every year 21st February is known as the International Mother Language Day in Bangladesh.So today is the 21st February.Today this day is being celebrated with due dignity.Today this day is being celebrated all over Bangladesh.This day is being celebrated with due dignity in our Tangail district.
Why 21st February is Mother Language Day,
21st February is basically a day of mourning.Again It is well known as Martyrs' Day.On this day, the heroic martyrs are remembered with deep respect.Because in 1952, our Damal boys of Bengal formed a fierce movement for Bengali language.The people of Bengal had only one demand, the people of Bengal had only one slogan, we want bangla as our mother tongue.Because bangla is my mother tongue.
On 21st February 1952, some students of Bangladesh took out a procession on the streets of Dhaka.They took out a procession for mother tongue bangla.Sadly, the police opened fire on that procession.And many students were martyred in the shootings.One of them is Rafiq, Jabbar, Shafiul, Salam, Barkat and many others.So every year on the 21st of February those martyrs are remembered.Every year on the 21st of February they are remembered with deep respect.Today they are remembered with flowers.So today 21st February is being celebrated with due dignity.
So this morning I also went to remember them with deep respect.I woke up at seven this morning.I woke up and quickly fresh.Then I went out.I set off for the Shaheed Minar.My purpose is to give flowers to the Shaheed Minar.Because today the martyrs are honored with flowers in the Shaheed Minar.So I present to the Shaheed Minar at 8 in the morning to give flowers.
After going to Shaheed Minar, I met one of my elder brothers.At first I talked to him for a while.Then I looked around the Shaheed Minar.I walked around the Shaheed Minar for a while.I saw all the scenes on foot walk.Many more people have come there.People of different religions are remembering the martyrs with flowers.Then I gave flowers to the Shaheed Minar.And I remembered the martyrs with respect.
When I was walking around the Shaheed Minar, then I took some pictures.I saw people giving flowers and took pictures of those scenes.I took pictures while giving flowers.I shared all the pictures with you here.In the pictures you can see the view of the Shaheed Minar of our district this morning.I had a nice time at the Shaheed Minar this morning.So I shared those beautiful times with you.
