A few days ago, some of my friends and I went to see the Jhenaidah tree house.The place is really enjoyable.It is located in Lakshandia village, Shailkupa thana of Jhenaidah district, adjacent to Kushtia district.The village of Lakshandia can be seen about 4 km east of Chandpur on the Shailkupar on the Jhenaidah-Kushtia highway.

The Lakshandia village of Shailkupar in Jhenaidah is now well known to many. People from different parts of the country see an exceptional house in this village seat. That house is known as the tree house. The house is decorated with 5,000 species of trees on 14 bighas of land. The walls of the two-storey building are covered with trees. There are also big trees on the roof. All the valuable and rare trees are being decorated in the yard. The forest trees planted along the road are eye-catching.

This tree house belongs to Md. Aminul Islam, son of late Golam Kawshar Ali of Lakshandia village. Although he lives in Dhaka, his heart is in Lakshanadia. Aminul Islam, a businessman who owns a tree house, said he prefers to work in needlework in 2014 when he needs to work with village women in needlework. As a result, the house he built became useless. And then he decided to build a tree collection in this house. He also bought land along with the land he got from ancestral sources to build a tree collection on 14 bighas of land. His house has been planted with trees from several countries including Belgium, Portugal, Malaysia, India, Dubai. According to Aminul Islam, there are about 5,000 trees in his house at present. The number of these trees is increasing every month. He actually brings home at least one tree from Dhaka every month. The house has valuable trees like Rita, Naglingam, Amazin, Lily.

• First you have to go to Kushtia Khoksa ferry terminal.The fare from Khoksa to the ferry will be 30 rupees.You have to cross the ferry ghat by boat and go to Sholakupa police station. For this you have to rent a ferry boat for 10 rupees per person.
  From Sholakupa ferry ghat you have to go to Sholakupa market by van. The rent of this van is 10 rupees for one person.
  It takes one person to go from Sholakupa police station to Lakshandia village in an autorickshaw for 30 rupees.

• If you want to go to Lakshandia village by bike from Khoksa, you have to fill the bike with four liters of oil.And you have to cross the Khoksar ferry with 20 rupees.
