The Memorial of Rabindranath Tagore, Shilaidaha Kuthibari. The famous Khorashadpur of Khorashadpur of Shilaidah union of Khurkhali Union of Khurkhali Union of Khurkhali Union of Khurkhali upazila is going to carry the memory of the past today.

Various programs were organized on the Death Day of Rabindranath in Kuthibari till last year. It is not known that there is no such publicity in the crisis of the government, and there is no organized in Kushtia Shilaidah Kuthibari due to no such publicity in the crisis.

This Kuthibari was in the big part of the life of Ravi Tagore. Rabindranath's grandfather Dwarkanath Tagore got the zamindari of this region in 1807. Later, in 1889, Rabindranath Tagore came to the zamindar of this region. Here he operates zamindari till 1901. Here he wrote gold, Chitra, Chaithali, etc. Even 'Gitanjli's translation work also started here.

Since 1958, Rabindranath Tagore's Kuthibari in Shilaidah was preserved in the glorious memory of the Department of Archeology of Bangladesh. After the independence of Bangladesh in 1971, after realizing the importance of Kuthibarti, the house was established as a museum by preserving various artworks of Rabindranath.
