My name is Md. Sabuj Ali. I am a Bangladeshi. I live in Dinajpur district of Rangpur division. I am currently a fourth year student at Honours. I am studying physics. I am going to discuss all the expenses from the beginning of my education life till now.
Childhood school.
The first institution I started studying at was Al-Aman Academy. It is located in Parbatipur upazila of Dinajpur district. I studied at this institution for seven years. There are a total of seven classes from play group to fifth class. My father had to pay 320 taka per month in this institution. Three test systems were introduced in one class. The fee for an examination is 500 taka . Here every year my father had to pay 1500 taka for the exam. I didn't need to have a home tutor from play group to fifth class.
High school (6-10)
After passing the fifth class, I was admitted to a reputed educational institution in my police station. The name of this institution is Janankur Pilot Model High school. It is located in Parbatipur upazila of Dinajpur district. It is located in the main town of Parbatipur. It was established in 1925. It is a very old educational institution. In this school I study from sixth class to tenth class. In 2012 and 2014 I passed JSC and SSC from this school. I passed SSC from science department. My father had to pay tk 150 money to this institution every month. Moreover, examinations were held three times a year to pass from one class to another. You had to pay separately for the three exams. Moreover, it cost 1000 taka per month to study privately. He had to pay tk 2,500 and tk 3,500 to participate in JSC and SSC board exams.
College (11-12)
After passing SSC in 2014, I was admitted to Parbatipur Adarsh Degree College. It is located in Parbatipur upazila of Dinajpur district. It is located in a pleasant environment a little away from the main city of Parbatipur. At HSC I study from the science department. I completed HSC from this institute. My father had to pay 200 taka per month in this educational institution. Two examinations were held to pass from class XI to class XII. You had to pay 300 taka for each test. The same process in the twelfth grade. After passing two examinations of class XII, one has the opportunity to participate in the HSC board examinations. My father had to pay tk 5,000 to participate in the HSC exam. Besides, I used to spend tk 2,000 per month for private tuition. I studied privately for two years.
University (1st year - present)
I got admitted in a government educational institution after passing HSC. The name of this institution is Joypurhat government college. This institution is located in Joypurhat district of Rajshahi division. It is located at the south and west corners of Joypurhat railway station. It is located about 85-90 km away from our Parbatipur upazila. Here I am admitted in the 1st year of Honors in Physics. My father had to pay tk 5,000 to be admitted in the 1st year. I have to be admitted to a hostel to study at this educational institution. Because the educational institution is far away from my home. The hostel has to pay 8000 taka per month. And to participate in the board exam every year you have to pay 5000 taka. I am currently in my fourth year of study.
How much do I pay for my education?
Childhood school | School | College | University | Total |
---|---|---|---|---|
37380 taka | 93750 taka | 62700 taka | 388000 taka | 582630 taka |
How do I manage to pay my fees?
My father is a farmer. My father worked hard to continue my education. It was becoming very difficult for my father to pay for my education. But he never thought of stopping my studies. My father's dream is for me to be educated and get a higher education. My tuition costs increased after I was admitted to class XI. So it was very difficult for my father to carry such a heavy load. So I started tuition at home after I was admitted in class XI. I used to earn about 2000-2500 taka per month by doing tuition. This will alleviate my father's pain a little bit. After being admitted to Honors, I continued my tuition in addition to my studies. In this way, the cost of my education is a little bit of income. The rest is given by my father. Two months ago I found out about the Steemit.com website from my area big brother @toufiq777. He told me to work on this platform and it is possible to earn 4000-5000 taka per month. I started working on this platform. I have received support from @steemcurator01 for working for the one month and a half. I am very hopeful that if I can earn some money from this platform, it will be a little easier to bear the cost of my studies. I thank my father because he has to work hard to pay for my education. May God always keep my father healthy. I love you dad.

Studying at home is seriously hectic but what else a person can do during these hefty lockdowns. So, my tuition fee is also declined accordingly as I am taking Home Tuition in Karachi. Students here in Pakistan can easily hire a Home Tutor in Karachi and pay less to get an education than the schooling system.
