Oceanic Basin- The continental territories of the earth's surface are elevated and the sea cavities are very low. The lower part of the sea cavity is called Oceanic Basin. Scientists have assigned different theories about the origin of the Oceanic Basin.

Some extraordinary theories about the origin of the Oceanic Basin

1. Fall of satellites and creation of Pacific Ocean

Some scientists believe that there is another satellite of the earth besides Chad. Due to that angle, the satellite falls into the area where the Pacific Ocean currently exists and forms a huge hole. That hole was filled with water to form the present wide ocean. However, no confirmation has been found in this concern. This is a piece of assuming based information.

2. Origin of Moon from Earth and creation of Pacific Ocean

This theory was introduced by George Darwin and Fisher. Their impression is that the moon was overcome by splitting some portions of the earth. A huge hole is created in the part of the earth and for this reason, the moon declines. This hole was filled with water and passed through the Pacific Ocean. A few more were in favour of this ideology.

Explaining the above theory in detail, Fisher said that the mass of the moon and the specific gravity are similar to the extent and structure of the sial in the loss of the earth. According to Fisher, this huge hole was created by the fall of the moon from the Pacific Ocean. At this point, the crust ruptured and gave birth to the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. 4. Drift theory

German scientist Wegener stated that the stance of today's continents was not in the past. All the continents concurrently were one land. Many like Wegener believe in this philosophy. According to this doctrine, the continents were a landmass until a certain period. They called this land or continent Pangea. At that time the bottom of the advanced land was dense and the upper part was composed of light objects.

At that time, due to the force of the cavity, the land of Pangea broke into several pieces, separated from each other and moved to its present position.
