The river is very dark or maybe you take the picture too early. Unlike other rivers that look clear, this river is impermeable to light. We cannot know about what is in the river water, what the bottom is like, and whether the river is polluted by hazardous waste so that the color is this dark. The black color of the river does not come from any waste pollution. The color becomes dark black because it has a fairly high tannin content. Tannin is a kind of compound that comes out of peat soil. Carbon material that is thousands or even millions of years old comes out and mixes with very fresh water.
