The rumor has been circulating for a long time that the Chinese smartphone company Oppo is bringing the first foldable phone. According to a reliable source, they will bring it to the market next November.
The Apo foldable phone is a lot like Samsung's Galaxy G Fold 3 and Huawei Mate X2. It is said to have a 6-inch LTPO LED panel with a refresh rate of 120 watts. The device will be powered by Snapdragon 7 mobile chipset. Another report earlier this month said it would have a 65-watt charger for charging a 4,500 mAh battery. It is not clear whether it will have Android 12 or last year's old Android 11 will be added.
Apo's first foldable phone has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX6 in the rear camera. It was not clear how many more cameras would be in the back. However, the front may have a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Side-facing fingerprint scanners may be attached for security reasons.
Apart from foldable phones, Oppo may also bring Renault 6 series smartphones next month. These may include Renault 6, Renault 6 Pro, Renault 6 Pro Plus. The chipsets will have Dimension 920, Dimension 1200 and Snapdragon 6 chipsets respectively.
