Bisexual Robin

Recent years have brought fans of comic characters non-heteronormative representations. Although it is still far from perfect, in recent days we gained another superhero. This time it was Robin - Batman's helper.

Tim Drake is the third character after Dick Grayson and Jason Todd who plays in the comic book universe the role of Robin, Batman's helper. He appeared in the late nineties, not only in comics but also, among others, in computer games.

The comic book hero comes out in the sixth installment of Batman: Urban Legends. There, Robin is forced to save his friend Bernard from oppression. While fighting the opponents, Robin realizes that he has more feelings for his friend. Later, as Tim Drake, the hero begins to explain his feelings. Finally, Bernard invites him on a date.

Robin is not the only non-heteronormative character in the DC comics universe. Harley Quinn is also officially a bisexual character - her relationships with women, mainly with Poison Ivy, have been featured in DC Comics-related cultural texts.

People interested in pop culture were very enthusiastic about Robin's bisexual sexual orientation. The vast majority of comments on social media are positive.
