Saturday

Dear Diary,

_{Ready to do studies with a glass of Lemon Juice}

My routine on Saturday is consist of normal daily activities. I spent the day in a simple way. Today in the morning I woke up really late around 9.30 am. Then I spent some time with my phone while having morning tea. Actually I spent so much time on the phone chatting with friends and scrolling through Facebook.

Thereafter I brushed my teeth and washed my face. After cleaning by myself I had my breakfast. Then I relaxed for some time and watched some TV. After my favorite program finish, I spent some time on Steemit. Thereafter I walked a round in my home garden and plucked some lemons to make a juice.

_Lemons

Today is a good day for having a glass of lemon juice as today was too hot. First I washed and cut the lemons in half. Then squeezed the lemon juice into a cup. I got all the juice out of each half. Next I added some sugar, salt and then water and mixed it well. Then I kept it in refrigerator for cooling.

After that I had a bath. At 2 pm I took my lunch. After lunch I helped mother to wash the dishes and cleaned the kitchen. Then I took a short rest. After that I sat for my study with a glass of lemon juice. I enjoyed the drink while doing my studies. Thereafter I spent some time leisurely in our home garden. In the evening I had a cup of plain tea with an egg roti. It was best to have a spicy snack with a hot cup of plain tea.

Then I worshiped Lord Buddha as I do in the every evening. I watched news at 7 pm. After that I watched a reality program in TV from 7.30 pm. I had my dinner while watching the TV. Before go to the bed I was here to write my diary post. Now the time is 10.10 pm...

That's the way my day went and that was just for today. Bye for now!

Sure 🙂
First combine flour, water, salt, oil in a bowl and mix well. Next transfer the combined dough into a surface, knead the dough for 5-6 mins, until its smooth and soft. Then portion the dough into equal portions. Using your palm in a circular motion, shape them into smooth balls. After that add oil to a deep tray and add the prepared dough balls inside the tray with oil. In a separate bowl, add the eggs, red onion, salt, pepper, chili flakes and curry leaves and mix well. After the dough has rested for 2 hours, take them out of the oil and flatten the dough in a clean surface using your palm and finger tips until you have a thin circular shaped roti. Next heat pan with 1 tsp of oil on a medium heat. Once the pan is heated cook the prepared roti on the pan. When one side is cooked halfway, add egg mixture on to the roti and bend each side halfway. It should resemble a square. Once eggs are cooked turn the other side and cook until brown in color & cooked. Serve it warm. 😋

After I came to Batticaloa, i also used to have lemon juice. As you, i also felt that lemon juice is perfect for hot days. On somedays when the lectures were over near noon, i and my friends went to a near by restaurant and every such days i ordered lemon juice.
