Steeming Community Contest | " A Day To Remember " by @arfdhilah

Hi.. all steemian friends, keep the spirit in learning to write until our writing becomes a valuable work, may you be given success by Allah who is almighty over everything.

On this occasion I was challenged to enter a contest, more precisely input from my friend @realworld23 and this is my first time participating in a contest held by @steemingcuration which was the idea of ​​one of our seniors @fabio2614. I think this contest is very interesting, starting from the title which is so impressive, because we are forced to remember one meaningful memory and turn it into a motivational essay.

For me one of the Days To Remember is the memory of one day looking for wood in the hills. why I chose these memories for me to share, because there are so many wonderful experiences and memories.

One day in between classes, our teacher told us that he really wanted a hall that could be used for recitation. So it was just a story, not having his students build the hall for him. That is a natural thing, because one thing we want if we often express to others is prayer. Likewise our teacher who only expresses what he wants so that his prayer is accepted.

The following days we talked about it and it came down to a plan. Sharing assignments with classmates according to their respective qualities, then we took a policy to convey the plan to the teacher.

Yeah, that's part of my duty, looking for wood on a friend's hill. The toughest task that not only requires reckless capital, but also requires strong mental, physical, and stamina. The process also takes 3 days.

08 february 2019, the day the agreement leaves for the destination. However, because previously there was an urgent matter in my hometown, I made sure to tell my friends to be 2 days late. February 9 night then I departed from Perlak, East Aceh Regency, which is 7 hours away to my destination, which is 6 hours from Perlak to the Pidie Jaya Paru village Shop and 1 hour by vehicle from paru village Shop to Cuboe Village.

my delay caused a shortage of members, basically 5 now to 4 members. That's why my friends pranked me. At first they give wrong address. Arriving at the place I faithfully waited for pick-up for approximately 2 hours and occasionally called friends about the length of the pick-up time. But in the end they told the truth that they had made fun of me, I immediately stopped the car and immediately gave the destination address to the driver. Arriving at the crossroads friends who picked me up ready to laugh at me. In short the next day we left at 07 am from blangdalam village to cubo village which is 45 minutes by motorbike. I was immediately taken to the hill without going to a place for a night's rest, namely a resident's house because they reasoned that the place to rest at night was in a hut on a hill, what could I do other than believe it.

Arriving there after parking the motorbike, I was taken through a difficult road to a hut at the foot of the hill where I was forced to go up the hill and go down the hill, plus I was from the village carrying a bag full of clothes making my breath gasp. Sighing, until at the top of the hill only formed laughter from us. Then we took a short break because 2 of my friends who didn't bring anything were tired, especially me who was carrying a 15 kg bag, then continued the journey not far to the resting place by going down the incline. Even though there is an easier way without climbing to get to the hut at the bottom of the hill. This is our joke which became one of the examples of memories that we formed and a benchmark for me for my sincerity in helping teachers.

What we do at the top of the hill is lower the wood by carrying it from a densely forested place to a safe place then connecting it by making a path to move the wood from a height down considering the workload is very heavy.

Every day we go through is full of enthusiasm because we don't want to disappoint the teacher even though the work we do is too heavy and full of challenges, that's all my friends because I just worked on the last day hehe. And also with the spirit of our teacher occasionally visiting us by coming directly to the hill.

1.our efforts to help achieve the teacher's wishes are not of great value to us, because the services of a teacher who introduces all the procedures for the validity of our worship will not be able to repay it no matter how big it is.

2.In dealing with problems, don't always get used to being angry because if you get used to it then anger becomes a habit that sticks with us, also jokes from friends, we shouldn't be angry because jokes are not things that come out of the heart, so we don't have to face it with the heart, think positively just.
