THE DIARY GAME : 09/08/2020 - Preparations for a trip ! Kandy !

Today is Sunday and my 9th post on this #thediarygame . Tomorrow we have plan to visit Kandy 😍😍 .. So today was a very busy day for me with lot of preparations. the main objective is to worship the "Temple of Tooth " and to visit some of my relatives in Kandy. We had lot of work to do for preparing. Get ready the cloths , meals , and gifts for relatives , vehicle etc. So early in the morning I went to Katubedda Cargills Food City with my wife. We wanted to buy some ingredients to prepare meals ... my wife is planning to prepare five cakes for five houses. I agreed it at first suggestion as it sounds really nice for my pocket 😜 😜 😜. After that we visited fashion bug - Katubedda .. I love that place very much than other cloth stores as it provides a sofa and a TV . So I can sit and watch TV peacefully while my wife go through the cloths. Actually we wanted to buy some gifts for the little ones .. so it took around 1 hour to the process and finally we selected some and warped them with beautiful wrapping papers. And them we came home and the next step was to prepare my cloths .. we plan to stay few nights and it can be extend to a week sometimes ..

And after that I had to fuel the car. Normally kandy trip will cost around 3000 LKR fuel. I had some fuel in the tank ... anyway I bought some more for safety.

We planed to leave the home at about 5.00 a.m . Because it is very easy to drive in the early morning because of law traffic. Otherwise it will takes hours to reach Kandy as Kandy-Colombo road goes through lot of towns. I will be able to update lot of information regrading Kandy - kingdom , Temple of Tooth , Kandy view point , Peradeniya Botanical garden etc. So it's time to have a sleep. Have to get up early in the morning .. Let's meet again tomorrow.
