ORANGE CAKES
INGREDIENTS
- Butter..........................400g
- Sugar...........................1cup
- Flour.............................4cups
- Baking powder.............1½ teaspoons
- Bicarbonate Soda......... 1 teaspoon
- Grated Orange Zest......... 6 tspoons
- Orange Juice.....................1 cup
- Eggs................................... 8 eggs
PROCEDURES
STEP1
mix butter and sugar until light and creamy
STEP 2
Add zest and orange juice, add quantity of eggs, then continue mixing. Incomporating all butter into creamed mixture.
STEP 3
Grease cake pan and add butter, bake for 50 minutes until lightly golden.
STEP 4
Allow to cool in a tin before turning out onto a wine rack to cool completely.
