My 1st Entry for The Diary Game 30/09/2020: A Walk to the City Centre or Downtown: Sorocaba, Brazil

This is my first attempt or entry for #thediarygame. I was looking at other diary game entries and they usually tag @steemcurator01 and the @steemitblog, so I don't know if I need to do that or if it's necessary - let me know if I'm doing it right or if I need to do something different?

So, today my wife and I decided to take a walk to the centre of the city, in Sorocaba, Brazil, where we live. We decided to do this because we need to exercise regularly as over the period of the self-isolation due to the Coronavirus, we had a rather sedentary lifestyle and so we had to change that - like a lot of us may have had!?

We walked over the bridge: Ponte Fransico Dellosso, which is the start of the city centre and spotted a capybara (capivara em Português) right next to the rivers edge, which was attracting the attention of a few people or witnesses:

After wandering around for a while looking at the different shops (and obviously resisting the temptation of buying one of myriad of tasty snacks and food you can buy in Brazil), we ended up at Pátio Cianê Shopping, a mall or shopping centre slap bang in the middle of the city, which is obviously a very popular place to visit for everyone. Here we bought some food, snacks and juice (with no added sugar):

_{Crostinis com Lemon Pepper (thin, crunchy crisp-like snacks made from pizza dough)}

Also, we discovered a new flavour of KitKat: KitKat gold, a combination of white chocolate and caramel flavour - very tasty. I would give it 4/4.5 - 5.

We should be going on some more adventures this weekend. It's been a while since we have travelled to other places or destinations and we intend to take a trip to a nearby city to see a friend, so expect more pics and maybe vids next week (I hope) when we return. 😊
