Knowledge

This man, my new employer. After I placed a call that I was en route to his location for our first meet, gave me directions to his house to wait for him, to ensure I didn't loose my way.

I arrived the place, and then waited for him. He called his wife and asked her to receive me. She came out, and gave me a warm reception. Asking me to please come in.

I obliged, took a quick survey of the home and got settled. Something about his environment, made me relax.

Some minutes later, he arrived. Apologized for keeping me waiting then went ahead to greet his wife and introduced me to her formally.

We got talking and we needed to sign some documents, his wife brought him some food and he ate the food, invited me even to join him.

It was time to leave, to go see where I was going to work in. I didn't fail to notice as he walked into the kitchen, just as I was about stepping out and thanked his wife. His words "Well done".

We drove in his car to the place, on the way back he told me in a friendly tone;

"I just got this car now, that was what took me out, you're the first person that has entered this car"

I didn't know what to say,

Immediately, he asked me to pray for the car. Thank God for God, He gives wisdom when we least expect it.

I laid my hands on the car and said " God will make this car work well for you"- He answered Amen, so did I.

His house indicated he isn't a Christian, the first thing I took note of.

On my way home, the Holy Spirit laid in my heart these words "zeal according to knowledge".

I had heard or read it somewhere. I picked up my Bible when it was time to study and looked for where I had read it.

It was written boldly in Romans 10:2. Having a zeal for God but not according to knowledge. Meaning there's a zeal with knowledge. When I sat back thinking and meditating on that verse, two things dropped in my mind;

  • there's something called RESPECT. I mean in the whole sense of the word; especially when dealing with people who don't share the same views as you.

  • you'll have your moment. KNOWLEDGE means not allowing enthusiasm to get the best of you; knowing when to act, and when not to.

Bid your time, your right moment will come.
